The reason Rose offices all have the same area code from ST. Louis is that the company is HQ'd in St. Louis and Rose has installed a global VOIP phone system connecting all U.S. offices and the India office via the same PBX. Makes it easier for them to share information across their many offices.

Hi all!  As per Starleigh Pole above. I got a call today from Nicole Walker on the same job at $16 per hour.  Boy I sure could use the money, but after reading all the posts here, now I am not sure.  And like all of you I hesitate to give anyone my SS# even in writing and in person.  There is so much identity theft to worry about, among other things....such a crazy world.  I have yet to get back to her, as I just read the return e-mail moments ago.  I sent my resume as she found it on Careerbuilder.  I did post it out there and at least I got a phone call which is more than I can say about most jobs I've applied to.  I applied for over 23 just last week!  Any way, I am going to respond to them via e-mail of my interest while checking the address they provided.  We'll see, but I am always leary of recruiting companies out of the KC area.  If I can't see the whites of their eyes how do I know I can trust them??? :)

Rose International Staffing is not a scam.  I've had a very good experience working with them.  All calls have been in response to jobs I have applied for online.  They do need to pre-interview background search so you will have to give them your social and date of birth.  I suggest doing so online so you have a record of supplying the info if ever needed.   It's just a shame that Bank of America and other companies that use their temp service don't post that on their website (that Rose Int. is an approved agency).

So how'd you get your paycheck? by mail? And did you get an ATM? Let me know what how their process goes.As for me, they're asking me to submit an agency consent form. They only need my signature, phone/e-mail.

THANKS ROSE INTERNATIONAL FOR A RUINED NIGHT'S SLEEP!

Three calls within an hour and no message; NOT PROFESSIONAL.  What are these HEADHUNTERS hiding?  Too embarrassed to leave the position information or even call back info, or just too spoiled by so many job seekers that they show no respect already for their potential employees?  Rose International will not be making any percentage off my skills and hard work, never mind getting a callback.

On top of that I'm in Taipei for the week so it's the middle of the night, and I was already having difficulty falling asleep because of the time difference.  One call would have been OK if they left a message so I know WTF it is, and not have to awonder or ssume it's a telemarketer. In stead they woke me back up FOR THE THIRD TIME an hour later right as I was drifting off and I had to turn the antenna off and look the damn number up.  I would like to be able to leave it on in case someone that actually knows me (and where I am) needs to contact me in an emergency.
