A LADY NAMED NANCY SMITH CALLED TELLING ME THAT I WAS BEING AWARD A GRANT OF 7325.00 DOLLARS AND NEEDED TO PUT A 325.00 DOLLAR SECURITY DEPOSIT TO GET THE MONEY N THE MONEY WOULD BE DEPOSITED IN MINS WELL WHEN YOU DO THAT THEY TELL YOU THEY NEED MORE MONEY BUT U WILL GET IT BACK SO I HAVE AN ATTORNEY ON IT NOW N THEY WANT RETURN HER PHONE CALLS EITHER. SO WATCH OUT FOR NANCY SMITH FROM NEW YORK
I recieved a call stating that I could recieve a grant for $7000 if I gave them $110 for a donation. They had stated that the $110 was refundable. When I sent them the money they had called back saying they needed an additional $400 to complete the transaction. When I wanted more information from them the lady said her name was Nancy Smith but, she was not an American. I had told her that I felt like it was a scam. This is when she became angry, started cursing, and hung up the phone.
I got a call from a lady named Nancy Smith saying I was selected to recieve a government grant for $7000 but I had a give them $325 as a security deposit. When I did that she asked me for another $328 and said that if I did not give them that money I was not going to be able to recieve my money, and that it was all "refundable". I told her I was not going to give them anymore money because this was a scam and that I wanted my $325 back. She got really mad and said she was not going to give me my money back.
This is a scam claiming they from the federal reserve bank in new york and telling me that I would get my $7000 if I send in my security deposit of $355 which I had already sent a donation of $100 to an unknown person by the name of Kelly Johnson from the number 205-905-0699 and after sending that I would receive my money in 45min of time which was a lie. I just wish I had some type of way of finding the person doing this scam so watch out for that other number from the district of columbia claiming they are from the US Grant Department.
