SCAMMERS ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY
Scammers prey on people who really need money, can't afford to lose money, because they know most will not do the research to protect themselves from these scams
THE INTERNET IS A TOOL YOU USE TO PROTECT YOURSELF - USE IT!
This is a SCAM!!!! Please don't listen to the grant callers!!! A lady just got me yesterday! I western union her 130 and additional 398!!!!!!! I'm pissed I wished I could get my money back! I'm a broke college student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad situation!!!! You will not receive 7000!
I was a victim as well over this past weekend. A lady named Michelle Williams told me I would receive a $7,000 grant from the US Government for a few different reasons. They had me send $140 via Western Union to have the money "transfered" to the US Federal Reserve Bank in New York. After I did so I then received a phone call from Nancy Smith. She stated she was from the Federal Reserve Bank, and that I needed to send $400 via Western Union to again, have the money "transfered" into my account. The total ammount being deposited was $7,400. I specifically stated that all I had left was that $400, and she re-assured me the money was being returned along with the grant. After waiting the "15 minutes" for the money to be deposited I never received it. Called her back and she stated to wait another 15 minutes. In the end the money was never given. I googled this number right away and saw all these comments. Unfortuantely at that point it was too late.
That was my Christmas money... Now i have nothing to give for presents. I am extremely upset, and I work very hard for my money. I prey that this does not happen to anyone else, and that these Scammers get whats coming to them. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!!
