His just happened to me as well. I gave my friend 200 to help him recieve "a free federal grant" because they know he hasnt done anything wrong and has home problems. I lent the money and was listening to the man tell him he now needs to pay 700 to get his 7700 loan. He doesn't have the money so they are telling him to find it. We are on the phone with him
Right now!! We can't believe this. I am out my money to get me through a month and he got scammed!!!! Why are people scums.
I am outraged at this....I too, fell for this last week. They got a total of $500 from me after it was all said and done. I was already in a bind and was so scared to do it, but willing to take the chance to see if I could really come out ahead for once. My nerves have been a mess the entire weekend and I realize now why. Guess my head knew better.
Any ideas on how we can find them?
Is anyone getting their money back? My guess is no....just hoping.
Why didn't I do this research first?
Well the point that my sister is at now is I guess further then anything I've read! That 'Nancy Smith' is a piece of work! They were really good with their lies. They kept making my sis wait days! It was exdcuse after excuse that prolonged this process. I guess we reached the final step where all the calls go straight to voicemail w/0 ringing and then the voicemail box is full. I wonder if anyone has went any further.
