Called saying they were from software support and that there was a problem with my computer. When I questioned "Shirley" she got defensive and refused to put me on the do not call list when I asked. She was very rude and tried to talk over me then hung up on me. Don't bother answering
I man with a very thick accent called to tell me that there was an issue with my windows computer. I was very willing to hear about the issue. The caller hung up on me within a minute, likely due to my enthusiasm to hear what they had to say. Clearly an attempt at fraud.
I received a similar call as soon as I told them that I would contact the attorney general's office they hung up. You may want to forward this information to them.
