I got a call from Washington DC saying I am to receive a $9,000 grant. In order to receive the grant, I had to purchase $200 in iPhone cards. Curious, I bought the iPhone cards and had to scratch the activation codes and read them to the caller. Successfully providing valid codes, she gave me a number to their tax office. They said in order to receive the grant, I have to pay federal taxes upfront in the amount of $685. I told her I could not pay this amount right now, but will call her back when I do. I'm curious as to where this goes. Also, I went to redeem one of my iTunes cards on the Apple Store, and it said gift card already redeemed??
I got a several call from them telling me i recieved a grant money for 9000 dollars and had to go walmart to pay an activation fee for 200 dollars . I found that weird because I asked what Gov company they worked for and said HUMAN & HEALTH SERVICE. HMMMM , it doesnt add up . so I did some research & BAMM I WAS RIGHT.
I got a phone call from a foreign speaking woman stating I had received a money grant of over $9000. I check this number on the internet and found others had been contacted and told the same thing. It appears to be a fraud. Do not give them any financial info.
