I got the call yesterday, and again today. I was almost tempted to answer it with "STATE POLICE" or something like that but decided to block the number instead.
Keep getting cals from a Williams law office stating they have 3 counts for a warrant for an arrest they don't specify who they are looking for will report them to my lawyer for these harassing calls!!!!
Keep getting calls and voicemails for a warrant for a Ricky Rodriguez regarding a complaint. Don't know who they are looking for but this is harrasment .........
They are hard core Indian scammer/extortionists. As such they are beyond the reach of US law. Ignore them. Do not return their calls. Block their calls.
They are looking for someone they can scare into paying them something. Hard care Indian scammer/extortionists. They are predators, they know all your financial information and a lot of your personal information. They tend to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community. Also anyone they think might have been in financial trouble at one time. Usually they get their information from on-line loan applications that they purchase in bulk.
They rely on threats and say they are with some law firm or another and that you'l l be "arrested" and so forth. All total nonsense. You ca't be arrested for ordinary civil debt in any case. They throw around a lot of useless legal terms and say the police are going to be by in 30 minutes or that sort of garbage. Ignore them. Do not talk to them, do not give them any information--they are looking for vulnerable people.
