A call blocker can help. Also do not pick up on calls you do not recognize. The callers are hard core scammer/extortionists located in India and Pakistan. There's no way to stop the calls from being initiated.
Just received call form Brian K Law. From a man speaking foreign language who talked fast. He told me there was a case against me. Said I had three counts and need attorney. Total I will be respond able for is $6,945.00 plus prison time. I was scared to death. Called BBB in Mo. They said a scam. What constitutes these these low life's doing this, and what can we do about it?
Got a call from Nick, who advised me that I would be arrested on Monday--always on Monday, do they not arrest any other day of the week? He asked who my atty was and I advised him I would be representing myself. He then told me I was a piece of [***] and a [***]. I told him that was exactly what his mother said last night--He hung up.
