I just received the same exact call. Saying that If I don't call back immediately then they're going to issue an arrest warrant for me. But as you all have said he never mentioned my name.This guy also had a heavy Indian accent.
Exact same scam. Called home phone with the same BS story and name as the previous posts as well as claiming to be in past attempts an IRS agent and a law enforcement agency. Considering disconnecting home phone altogether. Repeated scam and telemarketers are 90% of calls on that line
Ok....ok...ok!!! I have read all your complaints!!! I typed that damn number in and I found all of you good folks with the same damn dilemma as me. What I noticed about most of us was 1. Kevin Williams was in almost every one of our post. 2. MOSTLY ADVANCE AMERICA!!! If you have like my self applied for a loan or if you have gotten an email saying you have been approved for a $10,000 loan !!! That's it!! These M.F'ers has use our own information against us!!! They been working under Advance America's name fraudulently and have been obtaining all our information gathering all our personal information to scam us one way or another to get over on us!!! If I gotta write Dateline or something even higher GOTDAMN it!!! Something has to be done!!!
