Here we go again. As a common carrier Verizon is required to complete any calls to you, not pick winners and losers.

Received 2 messages on landline. Said a lawsuit has been created and I should call 646-760-5378 before they file it with the county. Nobody answered when I called back. I echo the note to let all elderly friends/relatives know, definitely sounded threatening enough for me to go online to check it out.

IRS lawsuit - call 646-760-5378 before it gets sent to local county courthouse.  Luckily I'm no fool but someone out there may be. SCAM Call and you don't allow that option below.

SCAM! They left eft two robo-messages before 8am saying "Local county courthouse. Please call us back at 6467605378." When I returned the call, it was answered "US Treasury Department Tax Crime Investigations" in very broken english.
