Got a text saying a security alert had been issued on my credit card and to call back on this number. I called the bank that issued the credit card and was told no such security alert existed. I would suggest not calling the number if you get a similar text.

Got the same text message today regarding my debit card. Unfortunately called the number and left the required information. After while decided to call the bank and found out that nothing has happened to my card and the text message was a fraud. Had to cancel the card to prevent unauthorized access to my account.

text on phone from "[email protected]" (a dead link...) supposedly from Bank of America stating "Your card may remain blocked! Please call (646)781-8342" - Upon checking accounts on line, BOA cards were, in fact not blocked..Obviously BOGUS! Just a colossal time waster...from the usual societal misfit scum losers.
