Called .....automated system wants my account number to verify....I hit 0 and 0 and 0 to speak with operator.....Nothing happens....Hang up and start googling to see ifthere is anything about this on web....EXPECTED FRAUD!!!!! why???? Don't bank with Bank of America

I don't believe I even have a BoA card. How can I stop from receiving these scamming texts??
Got a text "(IDNo.UTBQ) ID: 945760 Mobile BOA alert issued. Please call (646) 781-8342". Was worried since I had to activate a new card just a few days ago due to a BoA security breach. Good thing I double checked on here.
I called the number to see who was calling as text pretty much just said alert on visa debit card. They said on automated message that it was for a possible unauthorized purchase on my bank of america visa card and theyasked for my account number. I hung right up and called bank of america. I provided nothing to them.
