Called .....automated system wants my account number to verify....I hit 0 and 0 and 0 to speak with operator.....Nothing happens....Hang up and start googling to see ifthere is anything about this on web....EXPECTED FRAUD!!!!! why???? I did not call back. I have never given BOA my Cell No. Went on line and checked my account and nothing was out of order.
I received a text message last night from an email address that was clearly NOT Bank of America but was posing as Bank of America stating "(IDNo.ED1W) ID: 581112 Auttomated Mobile alert issued. Please call +1(646)781-8342 CB# 7818342". I didn't think much of it and deleted the text but not before taking a screenshot. This morning I log into my Bank of America account to pay and bill and INDEED find pending transactions that I did NOT make. DO NOT REPLY to those texts, I did not but CLEARLY someone has sold my bank card information off to someone. I would check your bank statements and be vigilant of transactions. I'm glad i caught this when I did and was able to stop the pending transactions and the two charges that had already been made have been credited back to me by Bank of America. An investigation is being launched and it is POSSIBLE that a reputable company I recently gave my information to over the phone either had a breach or an employee sold off my information as the transactions that had been deducted happened around the same time as that transaction. Be careful people!

Husband got the text a few minutes ago. Doesn't have an account. I do but did not receive the text. AND why would a bank text people? They don't even have my cell number. I would think if legit, they would make a phone call.
I just got this texted to me twice. I don't have bank of America account. Number is off by a few numbers. No doubt same scammers.
