Calls from this and numbers with similar area codes. Threatened to send out arrest warrant if I did not comply. Said I owed $598.00 for miscalculations on my 2015 & 2016 taxes. Got very nasty when I would answer his questions with my own questions. Threatened additional jail time if I did not cooperate. Finally got tired of his attitude. Hung up. Middle Eastern accent...

Same as all the others. I worry for old people or dumb ones as mentioned. My question is when are the telcos going to stop this. We report it but nothing happens. It used to be they monitored this on new business numbers making robo calls. Now they just turn a blind eye to profits.
I received the following voicemail.

I realized immediately this was some sort of scam to get money- No legitimate agency would say "local cops".
Received call from New York, NY on my cell voice mail saying I had 4 serious allegations against me and the local cop were being sent to pick me up if I did not return their call. Are you kidding me!!! First they are not local law enforcement not cops and you really suck big time!!!!
