They call nonstop, when I do get an actual person offering things to me they shouldn't and try to get their info, they always ALWAYS hang up on me.
It simply needs to stop, as I have no credit cards for them to contact me about.
This number called my phone. I read the above and now i am worried. Got scamned last year by lower interest rate jerks. And i got nowhere with stopping the charges from credit card and now these calls again. I am concerned. I am on do not call list and they keep calling.
Received a call from this number this morning. An American woman's voice offered to lower my credit card rate if I would press one. An operator, Brian, came on the line. I requested his name, company and address. He told me he worked for Visa/Mastercard. He would neither provide me with the name of the company nor the address. When he asked why, I said I wanted to ensure that I was dealing with a legitimate company before providing information. He told me he thought I was lying (his actual words!) and then hung up. I wish there was a way to put these folks out of business. If I confirm that my number is on the do not call list, all that happens is that more unwanted calls are generated.
Indiana: Just got a call from these people...hope this does not lead to future problems. I didn't pick up the phone but our mssg machine does give our last name. Wish there was a law that made it easy to track these numbers. Frankly all caller ID blocking should be illegal.
just got this call today and the message on my voice mail was the tail end saying something about lowering my interest rate. For what I don't know. I simply erased the message but am keeping it in the back of my mind.
