Called me looking for my mother. I told the woman this is not her #. She refused to tell me who she is or what company she's from. Said they will remove my # after my mom calls them. Uh... <blocked>
I got a call from this # at 640 pm with no msg. I called back and the recording said they were the philanthropy office. most likely this is HAZELDEN addiction treatment center as I have had connections there. no msg probably means to keep confidentiality even if it's a donation being sought
The call is from the Hazelden-Betty Ford Foundation, an Addictions Treatment Services Provider. It is legit as far as the DNC List goes. ***TO BE REMOVED, you will have to answer the call and ask, live on the phone**** Don't bother calling them back, as they take Privacy seriously.

Just got "the call"! I am in shock. My son spent a month there and they wanted money. I told them before that he had passed away from an overdose and this woman asked again for money. She never said sorry for your loss. She said I guess you want to be removed from the list and hung up! Who does that!
