I answered and pressed 1 to speak to an agent for an independent contracted service to Blue Cross/Shield. Angel answered the call, I only gave part of my first name and asked if I could get his number to call back as I didn't have time to talk right now. She was about to give me a call-back number when "Click" the call ended. Total SCAM!
Something about student loan debt forgiveness. Not only do I not have any student loans, but any call like this is a scam and a fraud. At best, even if they aren't a scam or fraud, they are not there to help you and are going to hook you on either worse rates or worse payments.
I made sure to tell them exactly what I thought of them when they asked for a recorded message because all their agents were busy.
