I have received so many spam calls throughout the years, which is why I put my number on the do not call list. And yet these people proceeded to call me. Filed a complaint with the DNC registry.
Yep, a robo-call in total violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry, promising cheap health insurance from BC-BS. I pressed '1', and got an agent from 'American National'. I punked him for 10 minutes, giving TOTALLY bogus info about me, my family, my work and my insurance needs. When I notified him that he was being punked and why, he immediately hung up. Time is money - if we want to stop this nonsense, we're going to have to hit them where it hurts - their pocketbooks. As an added bonus, at some point they will become so sensitive to folks playing games with them, that they will start hanging up on actual suckers who may sound a little "off"- soon after, their business model should fail completely...
