During the course of the last few days, I have received and continue to receive clls from this number at least 3 times a day on my cell phone. And they call at a time when I am at work and unable to answer their call. However, I tried to call back to determine who is calling and why but to no avail. Is there anything I can do to stop this call? Please help for it is simply irritating. Thanks
they call all the time all the time when you call back it just says all circuits are busy they are harrassing us I am on the do not call list why isn't that working??? Please do something!!!
After a few hang up calls last month I finally spoke to a person this time when I answered this a call from this number this morning. The male caller asked for my mom. I told him that she wasn't available. He then stated "oh okay maybe you can help me." He went on to say he was calling on behalf of the homeless Veterans fund or something similar. After giving me his speech he asked me if I would like to donate. The donations ranged from $100-$35. When I told him I was unemployed he said "oh I'm sorry to hear that but we do have a lower donation of $15 for those who can not donate more." I said I was sorry that I couldn't help and he nicely said he understood then hung up. I thought it was odd that he would ask me for a donation not knowing who I was.
1-657-202-9006 Just called me at 4:04pm (East Coast time) on 2/8/13 from Anaheim CA. Angela said she was calling from "Homeless Veterans" and started into a spiel which I cut her off from (because I never heard of this organization and suspected it was a scam). I told her that I was in the middle of working and asked that she place me on the do not call list. Hopefully, I won't hear from them again. I noted the call type as non-profit organization below only bc I suspect they she was trying to claim that the organization is non profit and was going to ask me to donate money. I was too impatient to hear more bc I am frustrated with fact that people/organizations try to profit off of veterans. Our vets are the ones who deserve support and respect - not wolves in sheep's clothing. I will give to those proven to be legitimate.
