During the course of the last few days, I have received and continue to receive clls from this number at least 3 times a day on my cell phone. And they call at a time when I am at work and unable to answer their call. However, I tried to call back to determine who is calling and why but to no avail. Is there anything I can do to stop this call? Please help for it is simply irritating. Thanks
Got a call on Dec 30, 2012 from 657-202-9006. We answered, they hung up. This is not the first time we've received calls from this number. It is quite annoying. Where is the FCC on this?
I too, received a call from these idiots this AM. Fortunately it was not before 10:00.
Like all other complaintants, the caller either hung up or simply didn't answer. Whether trying to "grab" your phone number for illicit purposes (ill gotten gains) or calling to solicit money for whatever bogus chairity, Either way it is annoying to say the least.
Reporting this activity to the "Friendly Candy Company" (FCC) does absolutely no good. You can make complaints until the "cows come home" and it will do no good. They seemingly get so many complaints
that they can't begin to look into all of them. In fact, I read that one can only put their complaint on a list and when they get enough they (FCC) might look into this company. Save your breath!
I rec a call from the number in question today at 0940 (31 Dec 12) as reported the calling party seems to be a "robo call" since no (human) answers. As to where is the Friendly Candy Company, They are on "leave" until after the first of the year. By then they will be so backed up with complaints, that 99% will go in the shredder.
The Do Not Call Registry is a worthless as a ---- on a ------ ----. One can complain all they want to to this registry and if they get (the registrar) enough complaints, maybe, JUST MAYBE, they will look into it...but don't get your hope up of ever getting any response.
Several calls from 657-202-9006 and a single (.) Period as Caller Name. Times vary fron midnight to 10pm. I have picked up and nobody says anything nor do I. So far the do not call database has been nullified with lack of funding for enforcement.
Every law to protect the consumer suffers from the lack of funding for enforcement but every law that protects the corporate better named corpirate masters.
