Been getting these calls for awhile now. I normally hang up, but this time i pressed "1". The automated call says that "Our records show that you have not updated your Google Business account... Press one to verify, or press two to be removed from this list." I am still not sure if legit or not. My feeling is that it is not, and that the SCAMMERS just want to verify that they have a live number so they can call back and harrass (pressing 1 or 2 would accomplish that either way).
5 calls today from these low life’s. As a business man I can only wish financial rune on these folks. I don't answer them and have their # listed as "pain in the [***]" but getting out the phone only to see their # is getting quite disheartening.
So, how many rejected calls does it take for a caller to get the message, no one will answer their call? Apparently, thousands!
The number, 657-202-9040 is on auto reject for my phone. Every day they call my number 15-20 times in a row. I called back twice initially, but it's an automated system of some form.
** BTW, who does what with the information collected on this site? Does it make a difference if we report these numbers?
