Been getting these calls for awhile now. I normally hang up, but this time i pressed "1". The automated call says that "Our records show that you have not updated your Google Business account... Press one to verify, or press two to be removed from this list." I am still not sure if legit or not. My feeling is that it is not, and that the SCAMMERS just want to verify that they have a live number so they can call back and harrass (pressing 1 or 2 would accomplish that either way).

Let me guess. I didn't update my google account!! Once again, I must let you all know that I have called scroogle about this and they have told me that these are third party callers trying to sell listings for scroogle and that they condone this type of activity. I hope the "golden rule" will some day apply to scroogle and their "third party prostitutes (advertisers).
ALL robocalls in California are illegal and, spoofed or not, these scumbags are using a California area code. So right there you know they're criminals and will only do shady things with any info you give them...
