Caller with heavy Indian or Pakistani accent said she was from the U.S. Dept. of Grants. I cursed her out and hung up. I have reached the point where I will not answer any phone call from outside my area code. If it is an actual friend, then they will leave a message and I will call them back. These scammers use computers that pick up unused American telephone numbers and use them for their purposes. The FCC wants to regulate our internet. How can they do that if the FCC cannot even stop these scammers on our telephone systems which it regulates. Pathetic government bureaucracy!
The 1st two calls came through as John Ciza with the number 657-235-9124. The third call came through as unknown. I answered and led these Indian scumbags into believing I was following directions. They asked me to press the CTRL and "R" key simultaneously. Them they asked me to enter WWW.TEAMVIEW.COM into my browser address bar. I told the scumbag that Inhad a very important call coming through and that I needed his number to call him back. He would not give up his number and told me he'd call back later. That's when I told him thanks for hanging on the line long enough for me to trace him. He became extremely angry and cursed me out so I told him "F*ck you very much" and hung up. What a bunch of morons...
Called for someone that works here by name, I asked him and he said his name was Paul Marshall (you're kidding me right?! You're obviously calling from India with your thick accent) and that he was calling from White ------, something, I said "white news?!" and he said "No, white -----", again I couldn't understand him so I put him straight into voicemail so I could come on here and check out the number. Bahaha, he's on my list now.
