I asked for a debt validation letter and they hung up on me! They called my dad again and released al my info to him! I called them and said per FDcpa you can not release my info to a 3rd party! And I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me and said good luck in court
I got calls on two different days (so far), both recordings, one a woman and one a man. Same message, I need to call them back immediately or they will pursue me at home and at work (we're in our 70s and both retired, but apparently they don't know that).
They left few voice messeges on my dads home number where i used to live 12 years ago. Never give them any information or promises over the phone, tell them to contact you in writing thru mail only. If they are a legit company they will have you current address and a phone number.
This scam calls aggressively. They claim to have a collection on someone and threaten legal action, provide a bogus case number and ask you to call them. I've actually called several times and it's always the same guy that answers. CCR ASSOCIATES. All fake, all a scam. I started calling back just to bug them haha! They don't answer my calls anymore, endless hold. Total scam, it was always the same guy that answers. I hope he gets caught soon.
