THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and may be using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money or personal info for fictitious crimes.

My wife got a call from this number also and the Indian guys once again said that his name was David Williams and that he had some paper work to send us for and needed to verify our address, so for us to contact him nothing but a scam this is being fgoing on for over a year now they keep on changing the numbers and trying new tactics
Received a message from man with indian accent about appearing in court regarding lawsuit. I called this # back (I blocked my #) and message I received was "The # you are calling has been disconnected or no longer in service." What a scam! Moron scammers!
A guy named Chris Cooper called my place of employment from this number stating that I took a payday loan and threatened me that I could be arrested and lose my job. I will be writting my attorney general. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!
Got a couple voicemails from this number stating that it was a "time sensitive" matter and that if I didn't return the call he wished me "good luck with the situation that unfolds". Man had very heavy Indian accent and said his name was Paul Roberts. I tried to call the number, no answer. Glad I looked online to see this is just some sick scam.
