I have read all the comments on this thread, and I can honestly say that these messages are absolutely absurd. I think all the people here just feed off each other, since all the comments repeat the same thing. I am the Office Manager for RLS construction Supply and have worked with Ed for over 6 years now. He is a great guy, very friendly, and is people-person. In all my years of working there (and in the same office as him) I've NEVER heard him yell, scream, go out of his way to be rude, or whatever else these comments claim to anyone on the phone. And from the dates of these comments, I was working during the time of ALL these calls mentioned in these comments.. and BTW.. Never has he had a "whistle blown into the phone", nor an "air horn".
Ed doesn't just randomly call people. He has a person's contact information because they have communicated at a point previously, and was trying to touch base. A few years back, his business partner stole all of his accounts, including clients who have ordered with him and the people who he has had contact with and called back, and started his own diamond blade business. It is possible that Larry/Robert has contacted many of Ed's contacts in order to "rudely" gain business, but I can assure that Ed takes his business 110% serious, and would never treat anyone disrespectfully. He also explains his situation with his past business partner to the people he calls.
It is very disappointing to see these fabricated comments and the terribly mean things people make up about a person whose just trying to run a business.. I can say that the way people treat him on the phone is no way he'd ever treat someone.
