Just contacted this guy today regarding laptops. Says he's selling Macbook Pros for 850-950. Thought something seemed fishy, then I put his name into google and found all this.

He's selling a Mac Pro on craigslist... conspicuously without the serial number.  He's definitely still active.

he tired to get me too. i always google someone's email address when doing online transaction. I immediately filed a compliant with our local FBI Office Cyber Crimes division. I suggest you all do the same.
