Called my mother saying I put her name down as a work reference. I typically do since I am self employed. My mom became suspicious when they wanted random info verified. I called the number and they wouldn't tell me what the company was until I verified all the info. Claimed they were ACT.
Woman called looking for EX wife, when I explained that I had no contact information for her since my EX a psychopath, she asked if I knew of anyone else that might know how to get a hold of her, told her no. I guess when you pay your bills you don't have to worry about bill collectors.
Called me asking for me and since I didn't recognize the number I asked who it was and what this was about, she said her name was Erika Hernandez and asked for me again, I said asked if she wanted to leave a message pretending I was someone else to see if I knew who this was and she just hung up. I get a lot of calls that are scams so I am assuming that this is what it is.
