Got the same call today You would think the IRS would read these complaints use the FBI tracking mechanisms to find and prosecute but their too lazy.
Just ignore
The calls come through VOIP internet connections and are virtually untraceable (tracing is theoretically possible sometimes but takes weeks to do because it can involve getting a subpoena for every different internet host the call passed through). And they generally originate from overseas -- beyond the jurisdiction of U.S. law enforcement.
I received a call from 661-434-0959, saying I needed to call or have my attorney call them ASAP, because I was being looked at for tax evasion and fraud. I have not called them back, and I will not call.
