Called office, came up on Caller ID as "Bank of America"; however, it's only 8:13 in CA so I hardly think B of A would be calling a business on the east coast at that hour (but then again it's probably a spoofed number), PLUS it came in our 4th line so I knew it wasn't a call for us. I answered but didn't say anything. They hung up, also without saying anything, after about 20 seconds. I can GUARANTEE if I'd answered with co name they would've hung up in my ear.
I just received a call from this number. Since it came up Bank of America I went ahead and answered. I was interested in finding out if I could lower my interest rate. The man on the other end sounded very Indian and it was very bad connection. When he started asking for personal information I hung up and call Bank of American's Customer Service. They told me that no such offer was being made and that this was phishing. So, do not answer the call.
They're back. A Bank of America spoofer trying to capture credit card numbers of unsuspecting spoofees. Its to bad under call type there isn't a Call Type that says Fraud.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
