Called office, came up on Caller ID as "Bank of America"; however, it's only 8:13 in CA so I hardly think B of A would be calling a business on the east coast at that hour (but then again it's probably a spoofed number), PLUS it came in our 4th line so I knew it wasn't a call for us. I answered but didn't say anything. They hung up, also without saying anything, after about 20 seconds. I can GUARANTEE if I'd answered with co name they would've hung up in my ear.
This is not Bank Of America. This is scammers trying to get your information by posing as a legitimate business. Although I have done business with BOA in the past, I am not currently doing business with them. Once I heard the message the scammers left, I knew it was not BOA, but the same old tired scam of trying to get personal info from you by posing as a legitimate business. The Do Not Call List, both Federal and State are totally worthless. Get a call blocker. Some phones allow you to block Hundreds of numbers and there are call blocking devices that let you block Thousands of numbers. It will be the best investment you will ever make. I have both, and since putting them into service, I am getting less and less calls. Sometimes weeks go by without hearing my phone ring with some scammer on the other end..A call blocker also lets you block calls from Charities, Political calls, Surveys and any other annoying callers.
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
Just called me on my cell and did not leave a message. When I called back I got a recording saying this is cisco unity...wait for an operator who never came. Cisco unity is real but I don't have any business with them. Careful, may be a scam.
