I got the same call,left me a voice mail.It's a scam.The irs doesn't have my cell number,plus if it was real,they dont leave Automated Messags,they would contact you by mail,not have a computer call & leave a message.
Indecipherable voicemail message about an IRS case file left by this 669-201-1734 number at 8:47 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016. Called number and person answering had my name with a fictitious zip code where I "supposedly" live. He said he was calling to "help me" with an IRS lawsuit against me. He gave me his "supposed" IRS address in Washington DC: 1111 Constitution Ave., NW Washington DC 92232. He tried to get "other" information from me. I refused. Asked him to spell his name and give me a legitimate IRS phone number and legitimate person name and title to call to verify the veracity of this call. He then hung up.
