I received a call from this number this morning. I didn't answer, and they left a message claiming that the IRS was filing a law suit against me. They asked me to call back a number, but I didn't.
I told them to mail me the information. The woman's English was hard to understand and it sounded as if she was in a large room with many other people talking. She threatened me with jail time - I told her the IRS mails information and there is an appeal process. She argued so I hung up.
I called back and said I was going to be arrested for because the IRS had a lawsuit against me. I said explain to me again and it was hard to understand him because he had a thick accent. He then just hanged up. I called my phone carrier and blocked the number.
These people will dig very deep for your information. They will claim you haven't paid taxes, even if you do not work. Do not trust these people. Obviously, I had no taxable income.
