Fake IRS scammers! Got call this morning from same number. Called number and Asian sounding man answered " Good Morning IRS" could hear multiple voices in background ( very busy people ) number was 699-201-1731.
I just got the same voicemail, let's see for one I don't owe any taxes, the IRS communicates through us mail and they don't call you at 6:30 on a Saturday morning.
Just got a call. I listened to their threatening spiel and when they asked if I wanted to handle this lawsuit in court or out of court. I said in court in front of a judge, they said a bunch of threatening stuff about jail and fines so they said again in court or out so I said out of court what do I have to do. So he's happy and starts again but wouldn't tell me exactly what I needed to do just yet until I agreed to out of court , he actually needed me to agree to say out of court again on the phone, and said it was illegal to interrupt him. Lol. So Finally i said again in court and to send me some paperwork in the mail . He said they can't do that until they get all this other info from me taken care of .. I said send it in the mail and hung up. I tried to call back and this time they have my number blocked. Lol. I know that the IRS will never call me. Bunch of [***] that have nothing better to do than scam up innocent citizens. WTF is going on in our world?
