I got a call today and she left a message about a fraud case against me. I called back and they said I go to jail if not pay. I'm really scared they said a lot of things about me.

I got the same call stating the exact statement about having a case submitted against me and that I need to immediately call back today at (678)267-1516. Her name was Elizabeth Waymyer and from what I could search this number is a cell number based out of Georgia thousands of miles away from where I live. I’m positive it’s some sort of money scam or attempt to steal identities . I didn’t call it back and don't plan to.
Same--and when I called, they said I had not paid back some pay-day loan. I've never taken out a pay-day loan? Then, I asked if they could provide information as to where ANY of the supposed delinquent "loan" had originated from and how and when I accepted the money... No information could be provided? Somehow I was disconnected. I called back to get an automated message. I left a message to return my call. So far nothing?
Is this real or a scam? I know I didn't take any loan out! They had me so frustrated I was crying and I'm still unsure what to do next? To top it off, it's my birthday today, and instead of enjoying the day, I had to deal with this!!
Got this call today
Auto recorded male voice saying I have a pending case against me, that he was from pre trial, press one for more info... Did not state any direct info identifying me, sounds like a generic message... Pressed nothing, and it disconnected ... Sounds fishy to me
