I am 19 years old, I do not have ANY outstanding bills or anything of the sort. This number keeps calling my cell and I am usually at work or in class and cant answer but when i try to call it back it just rings and rings. I have had my phone number for about 3 years. My mom on the other hand does have some major debt problems. Can they legally call me trying to reach her? I think one of her bill things is from american express. How in the heck do i get these people to quit disturbing me???
Yep, two calls and an e-mail (after I gave him the addess) today, supposedly from bayareacredit.com regarding an ambulance ride of my father's in 2003! Refused to give him or his supervisor (all with very strong accents) any credit card or checking acocunt info after they had Dad's address totally wrong.
I've been getting calls from this number at work. The caller keeps asking for the name of someone I don't know. I keep telling her I don't know the person but she keeps calling back. The woman she's looking for is an attorney (I checked) and the caller is claiming the attorney represents her father. The caller is supposedly trying to find the attorney so she can be reunited with her father. I've told her I can't help her but every morning there's another call from the number on caller ID. I should mention that I work for a Bar Association so I never thought that this call was related to a bill collector.
a collector can only discuss debt with debtor, supplimentry card holder or his spouse but may call u repeadetely for debtors information..so beter tell them u dont know cm..or u can even call on 866 479 7925 & tell them that u dont know debtor...& never to call or else ull complain..& for sure ..ull never receive calls from us
