A man with a heavy foreign accent called and asked for a co-worker at our company. He referred to her by her maiden name. She has not been here for a year. He wanted all home contact information for her. I told him we don't provide that. He hung up on me.
caller keeps calling asking for someone who does not live here, told not to call back, told them i am on National Do Not Call List, they told me i must be on their do not call list, so i said put my number on their do not call list, supposedly they did, ha ha !!! keep getting calls from same number still asking for this person who does not live here as well as now other people who don't live here. Tell them everytime, do not ever call here again. They keep calling 1 to 2 times a day. No msg, no nothing, just keep calling. Have filed numerous complaints at Do Not Call List Registry. They keep calling. 1 more call am going to District Attorney...... I do not know why they are calling me and keep asking for someone else.....
I get these also and I have reported the numbers to the Attorney Generals office. They will quit calling, first you tell them not to contact you at work, that you are not allowed personal calls, legally they are not suppose to call again. Second, they are only allowed to call you once a day anything else is harassment. Take the number down and report them, if they call your cell pull your bill off the net and then send it in higlighting the number of times they call a day. I have a ex with bad credit and they started calling me, this is how I handled it.
