This happened to me also! Just a few minutes ago, I received a called from in fact the number of our county department but it was their fax number. I immediately ask the Mr. Courtland why he was calling me from a fax machine number and got very rude and nervous. Then Mr. Courtland "connected" me with Mr. Lancaster and told me about the check frauds I "had and so on. When they attempt to verify my information I told them I had checked online and that the were a fraud and hanged up on me. uuuuuugh!!! such morons!! I called my county after they hanged up to let them know someone was using their fax line and they made a report on it.
Another scumbag trying to collect on and illegal payday loan. My info was stolen over 7 years ago and have been dealing with this ever since. I wish they really would serve me with papers like they say they will. If they do I can get the Attorney General's office to go after them. But I know it will never happen. Just false illegal threats.

Man phone sd I had a payday loan from somewhere never heard of , did not give Mini Miranda a FDCPA violation , threatened to sue me and said case already filed.Asked for case number refused and said could not provide until I had been served.

Received a call and he stated his name was mr. Lancaster, wouldn't give first name. Stated that a case has been filed against me for a payday loan for over $2,000. For check fraud. Which I have never done, and does not make since for a warrant. Maybe being served but not a warrant. He even had a fake number call me leaving a message stating it was the county courthouse and they just received a file for me to process a warrant and to contact mr. Lancaster to stop the warrant. I asked mr Lancaster who the loan was with he said western alliance, but would not give their phone number and I asked what collection agency was he with, he said he wasn't a collection agency but a law processing agency named rapid recovery. But to sum it up after researching this phone number, this company name and the real rapid recovery solution company, which they didn't have any info on me, and calling the county courthouse, mr Lancaster is a fraud, and do not give him any money.
Mr Lancaster. He states he is from rapid recovery soultions and I've tried to get a letter stating how much we owe and to who because we haven't taken any loan out and they won't send me one. My lawyer told me to get any info possible. His number is 678-701-6047
I received a call from investigator lancaster who proceeded to tell me the name of a previous employer a previous bank and my social security number (very scary) then he said I owed 1,710.00 to a company I know I didnt borrow from by the name of western alliance. I told him I never borrowed from this company an he proceeded to tell me that for my state I would get felony check fraud which I would get up to a year in jail pluse a fine. So I told him to do what he has to do, because I don't owe that money. As I was on the phone with one dum [***] another one from the same company calls on my other line (double trouble).
