Called a landline at 11:56am. No message - phone reverted to busy signal (that's all the machine recorded). CID read "TEXAS"
Side note:
I see repeated threads today on the same thing - apparently trying to alert people about a Craig's list scam ad that offers phone numbers for sale - at least I hope that's what the repeated posts were intending. Using Craig's list that way wouldn't surprise me.
Because of the way it read (calling out the site admins and anyone who had an issue with the content) and because of the shaky English (translated by Google, maybe?), at first I thought someone was sarcastically or illogically offering phone numbers for sale via this 800notes site.
It's an interesting doubletwist, either way.
I wouldn't recommend going to Craig's list or Googling to check the web site out - could be reverse "social engineering" - playing on people's indignation with scam callers at this 800notes site to create a sense of urgency to entice a visit to the web site (which could be boobytrapped to add the visitor's computer to a botnet).
