Called 1:18 pm on a Monday. Says "Texas" for Caller I.D. Left partial message on voice mail - a woman's voice saying "that's right - you have won a free cruise to the Bahamas."
voicemail on home phone stated eligibility for medical alert system and that I had been recommended by a friend. (we no longer answer phone directly; rings are are muted.)
Typical scam call: came from a number I didn't recognize. They hung up after four rings and left no message. CID said Texas. It appears that at least some of these calls talk about winning a free cruise to the Bahamas. I've gotten a number of those calls in the past, but this is the first one from this number.
