Monday April 4 2016 -- Caller identified me by name and said he had a buyer very interested in our home. I told him that I found that most interesting since it is not for sale. He hung up.
When I picked up the phone, the man asked for someone but it was difficult to understand. I told him he must have the wrong number. My caller ID indicated the number was a localized to North Richland Hills. Then he asked if I was "the owner of" and have my street address. We are not listed in the phone book. I asked who he was and he hung up. What disturbs me is that I noticed a missed call on my cell phone. So he has ALL my numbers and my home address, and that information is not easily accessed.
Almost the same thing just happened to me. First, this number called my cell, but left no voicemail. Then called my home phone a moment later and didnt leave a message there either.
Same thing. He called my cell first. I didn't answer. Then my OFFICE number. I noticed it was the same number and thought maybe it was my bank calling or my doctor, as I actually live in the same area code. The caller didn't say anything. They called back and I answered again and after a second, they hung up. Very annoying. How do these people think they are going to make money by stalking and annoying people?
just had this number call me. i answered and the line was silent, so i hung up, and within 15 seconds the number called me again. saying he was from a real estate company in Southlake, Texas, and said he had some buyers interested in buying my house and said the street i lived on. i told him i didnt know how or when he got the info as we sold the house last year. he stated they get their information from public records. he then said goodbye.
