Received a call that it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. Scared me at first and then I realized they wouldn't call, they would more than likely send a certified letter saying I was being audited. Looked up the number and found this thread. When I called, it was a fast busy. First time they left a message it was to call back 903-285-6922 and when I called there was no ring, just silence. Called from a cell phone and got a fast busy too. Glad I found this thread. Will report to the Do Not Call Registry.
call from "... revenue services" saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, and I need to call the number given. Whole message is in rough female mechanical voice.
Filed complaint with FTC & my state consumer protection agency.

The IRS will not call you.
They do not have "IRS sheriffs", and if they were going to arrest you, you would not know about it.
received two messages on answering machine advising that the IRS has filed a law suit against me secondly, that this was my final notice. They left this number to call back. So glad I was able to google this website and find out they were bogus calls.
