Hey, it's more than Verizon. It's AT&T, Sprint, Comcast, OCS, even TMobil with their pretty Girl in Pink. They all rent/sell our numbers. The phone companies are as crooked as the telescammers.
Obviously a scam number, so I didn't pick up. This time they left a message. Something about furnace cleaning for $59.99. Probably a phishing attempt. They'll ask you to charge it to your credit card. Next thing you know your card will have charges from the finest restaurants and massage parlors in Bombay. And your furnace will never get cleaned, not by these crooks!
