I had thought that maybe in the aftermath of the Tucson shooting Saturday, they might not have the nerve to continue soliciting support their misguided missive - that they'd at least take a respectful break from the relentless pursuit of such absurdity.
# is indeed NRA. But who in the hell has any $ to donate??? WTF! I have always felt that if I want to donate ANYTHING, I will call! DO NOT CALL ME! Also, no human on other end. Just recording. BUT, here is a tip...While recording is playing, start hitting ALL of the #'s on your phone pad. Usually, you will hit the correct # during recording that will trigger a p/u by a homosapian on the other end. NOW, here is the sweet part! You can either CONTINUE hitting ALL #'s in the dude or dudette's ear, or you can tell them to take you off the list. Depending on my mood, I have done both. Win, Win!
They call me multiple times daily, let the phone ring a few times and then hang up. It's annoying and unwanted. The caller id says Triangle VA. If it's the NRA as I see from other people's posts, they can forget me as a potential donor so, STOP CALLING!
I have been getting this number calling for days. 3-4 times a day. I called back and got an answering machine saying this is the National Rifle [***]. It was stated in an earlier post that this was a collection agency. That person was wrong. Just wanted to pass this on....
