I had thought that maybe in the aftermath of the Tucson shooting Saturday, they might not have the nerve to continue soliciting support their misguided missive - that they'd at least take a respectful break from the relentless pursuit of such absurdity.
Thank you so much for this information! I called the number. After the NRA voice mail picks up, pressing the 1 and then the 3 buttons got me to a place where I could enter my phone number. I chose not to listen to their recorded message and did not wait for it end before choosing those options. Not sure why they had my phone # since it is on state and local no call lists, and I sincerely hope never to be called by them again.
This is the National Rifle Association. I know, because I have picked up and I have spoken to these relentless, mindless drones on multiple occasions. Like everyone else, I have received calls from the NRA (National Rifle Association) on a daily basis for quite literally months. They are calling to request donations, and apparently they plan to keep calling until their victims give in and send them money in a desperate attempt to get them to stop somehow, by any means necessary.
Our home number is on the Federal Do-Not-Call Registry, and I have made a complaint online at::
I am sick to death of these phone calls, they call us every day Monday thru Sunday and it appears that no amount of asking them to stop calling has any effect.
I strongly recommend that others do as I have, visit the donotcall.gov website and file a complaint!!! Otherwise.. get used to the calls every, single day for the rest of your life apparently. Because these people are not going to stop..
Again..this is not a collection agency full of pond-scum dirtbags.
It's worse than that. It's the National Rifle Association and THEY want your money.
