they called me, same thing, IRS... I asked "why did I not get a certified letter?" They said, they sent it and asked me why I didn't respond. I asked them 'what address did you send it to?" They gave me an address, but it is not an address I have ever lived at!! Total bunch of B.S., IRS will NOT call you, they will send you a letter!!
Fake IRS calls threatening to sue you:
Folks! This is a criminal trying to intimidate u into giving them your money. The Real IRS will not do this! They ask to see u in person at a local IRS bldg. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION, ESP SSAN#. They dont stay on the line long because they are afraid u will trace their number & call cops!
If u have been scammed, u better call your bank and tell them about how stupid u r and see if they can help save your money for u before it is all gone!
caller left a message they were the IRS : this is to inform you we are the IRS and we are filing a law suit against you . Please call 703-659-8369 about your suite as soon as possible . I laughed out loud !! then tried to call them back to tell them to remove me from their call list the number was not a working number hahah . no caller id number
My sister and I got the same calls they threaten to have us arrested ..lol they even gave the wrong address couldn't even understand their foreign accent I told them they where fake and scum better call the real IRS I even gave them the number then he told me to go f***k myself and hung up, now I block my number and called them back several times already telling them they are liars and each and every time they hung up on me what a stupid scam they will not get away with not from anyway don't fall for this scam people they pray on people who work hard for their money I actually keep the on the line for awhile listen to their bull then call them idiot they curse at me because I wasted their time I day good because you wasted mine and they hang up again lmfao I'm gonna keep calling them back until I piss the off enough to leave me alone .
