Tax scammers. Have been calling several times a week from different numbers. Sometimes it's a heavily accented voice sometime robo voice. Always the same BS. I blocked this number like all the others
Received a call today from TAX HELP CENTER. Caller ID number is 703-662-9283. Received a call 3 days ago. Caller ID said TAX HELP CENTER, but phone number was 512-596-0679. I didn't answer either call, and blocked both of numbers. These are definitely scammers, and are using spoofed numbers for Caller ID. That's why they cannot be stopped. If they call, using ANY phone number, block the number if you can, but do not answer. This shows them that your phone number is an active number, and they will continue to call. Chances are they are calling from overseas, using spoofed numbers. Sad that they cannot be tracked and stopped. But, that's the world we live in today.
