Received bogus IRS message threatening arrest if I failed to call back. The IRS communicates only by mail. The man spoke with an Asian accent -- possibly Indian. He spoke fairly good English, but his used strange idioms. Thank God for call blockers. I wish our phone system had the capability to electrocute unwanted callers.
I had a recorded message that there would be a criminal case in my name and that the sheriff would arrest me if I did not call. The fellow identified himself as being with the IRS and he had a pronounced accent. What a bother.
I got a call today from Gary Anderson claiming I was going to be arrested and owed back taxes due to errors in my tax calculations. He threatened me with freezing my assets, take my house, arrest me for criminal charges. Claimed an officer delivered materials to my house and took a photo. Extremely aggressive. They give you a badge number and case number and have you repeat it back as if it's real.
