This company has called me three times today, leaving a message each time. I just delete them. I really don't want to talk to them I'd just like them to stop calling. If I ignore them long enough will they just go away?
Received call from the 703-828-0433 at 5:00 AM. The individual identified himself as Officer Garner, and stated he was calling from the "The Legal Department of the IRS".
I asked several questions about the written documents I had not received detailing the money he stated I owed, "Garner" immediately began listing the following threats stating; there was a warrant out for my arrest, they were freezing my bank accounts, they were placing a lien on my home, and they would be contacting my employer.
"Garner" then backed off a little and offered to settle the unexplained debt through an Offer and Compromise...
I ended the call and contacted my local police department to report this "scam".
My local police department was aware of similar scams and warned me to beware of the potential of individuals coming to my home and requesting payment via money orders!
If anyone is able to get a legitimate address for these crooks, we need to have them arrested!
Same as others reporting here. 2 voice mails to call them back regarding tax fraud and that a bench warrant has been issued for my arrest. I'd like to set this operation up for a sting & long prison life.
I recieved a call from this number 703-828-0433 on 3/26/2015 around noon PST. When I answered the phone it was a recorded message yelling at me in a thick accent (middleeastern) that I was in BIG trouble with the IRS and that I needed to return the call immediately or have my lawyer call them. I, of course, did not return the call to the number they suggested but rather, returned the call (On a private, blocked, landline) from the number that called me and it was for a sweepstakes for a cruise to the Bahamas. SCAMMMERS! If I would have called the number they gave me-what would have happened? SCAMMERS...I just laugh and block the number. Thank GOD for call blocking.
Received two calls from this heavily accented jerk...automated...purportedly from the fraud and tax evasion department of the IRS saying I was in big trouble for tax evasion and their would be a warrant issued for my arrest. I was to call them back immediately at 703-828-0433 and that I should not ignore the call. I ignored the call and will block the number if repeated. It appeared that since this originates outside the U. S. there's nothing the FCC, FBI etc can do about this!?!?! Really?!?! What a joke...a very serious and costly joke for some. Let's stop this fraud!!!!
Some half breed [***] called and left a message stating that I committed Tax fraud. He called from 703-828-0433. Unfortunately he did not leave a company name or his name. Even if he did leave his name I probably could not pronounce it. I am going to pursue this by informing the IRS.
