Steven Hunter, Empl Code #5443, Badge #PR6294 called twice, one right after the other saying I willfully avoided receipt of two certified letters in January and now am facing court hearing, . Said I was being audited since 2008 . Wanted to know if I had an attorney available and he told me to call him back an hour so he can help me.
Impersonating the IRS. Attemptin to collect money from me to prevent legal action the IRS had a case against me for tax fraud was their claim. I had until 5th that day to purchase vouchers and I would have to present them to an agent that would be stopping by that night or next morning.
They called and asked for my tax attorney name and number is order to deliver information in the case against me. I listened to a five minute list of terrifying things that could happen to me, including seizing my passport, etc. Fortunately, I called a lawyer friend who told me it was a scam.
